Daron Cruickshank (22-13-1NC) will face a ‘Dragon’ in his next fight. ‘The Detroit Superstar’ is set to make his promotional debut at Taura MMA against Deivison Ribeiro (27-11-1NC). The bout will take place on October 30, in Kissimmee (USA), on the main card of Taura 11 – headlined by Richardson Moreira vs. Jonathan Wilson, for the light heavyweight belt.
A true knockout artist, Cruickshank fought at UFC from 2012 to 2016. Then, ‘Detroit Superstar’ went to Rizin FF, in which he won five of his nine bouts. Those who enjoy savage and skilled exchanges and high-paced fights can expect just that from Daron: eight of his last ten wins came by the way of knockout or submission.
‘Dragon’, on the other hand, is 31 years old and has a long career in MMA: his cage debut was in 2007 and, since then, he has had 38 professional fights in events such as Jungle Fight, RFA, XFC and Titan FC. Despite a shocking leg injury sustained in 2016, Ribeiro resumed his career and fought twice since then.
