Bellator 125 will be held at the Savemart Center in Fresno, California. Bellator had just announced as the headline. MMA Veteran Melvin Manhoef will make his Bellator Debut against former Title Challenger Doug Matshall. Both fighters will look to stand and trade and show everyone what they are capable of.
Melvin Manhoef (28-11-1-1) has fought all around the world and is a true MMA Veteran. His one punch knockout power and technique has made him one of the most lethal strikers in MMA history with 26 of his victories by knockout. His Debut in Bellator is a true treat for any real MMA fan and we will see September 19th if he can hang with the fighters of Bellator.
His opponent in Doug Marshall (18-7) is a former Bellator Middleweight Title Challenger and is looking for that one big win that will land him in number one contender ship status again. His lethal striking has made many opponents go to sleep and will try to do the same to Manhoef.
Doug Marshall said “This fight is like a dream come true,” “Two heavy hitters going for broke. It’s a classic don’t blink fight. Bet the house someone is going to sleep before the first round is over. And to be able to have this type of fight in front of all my friends and family that I grew up with makes it that much sweeter.” Both fighters will be looking to send a message to the Middleweight Division and we will see at Bellator 125 who the better man is.
