Episode 1 of UFC 223 Embedded

Brooklyn, N.Y. (Tue, April 3, 2018)– UFC 223 will take place on Saturday April 7, 2018 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The main card will air on pay-per-view while the prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, featherweight champion Max Holloway (19-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) will take on Khabib Nurmagomedov (25-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) for the undisputed lightweight title. Max is coming into this fight on just six days’ notice after the announcement was made that Tony Ferguson had to withdrawal because of a knee injury. In the co-main event, women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas (7-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) will defend her title in a rematch with Joanna Jedrzejczyk (14-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC).
