Fighter: The Chris Leben Story – Part 2

Casper, Wyoming– On Friday, November 9th, World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation held their debut in Casper, Wyoming at the Casper Events Center. The event aired worldwide here on FightBook MMA live on pay-per-view from Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming. Above you can watch the video replay.

Chris “The Crippler” Leben took on “The New York Bad Ass” Phil Baroni in a special light heavyweight attraction. Left-handed Leben, fighting out of San Diego, shook off Baroni’s early roughhouse tactics, floored him, and then put his lights out midway through the first round.

The Arena Gym produced a 3 part series called Fighter: “The Chris Leben Story” as they show him preparing for his fight at WBKFF 1. FightBookMMA will have all 3 videos as soon as they are ready. In this series, we follow UFC Legend Chris “The Crippler” Leben as he makes his return to professional prize fighting after being diagnosed with a severe heart condition and forced into early retirement. In the two years since, he’s forgone the destructive lifestyle that he was publicly known for, become a family man, and adopted a strict protocol of herbs and supplements that’s reversed his heart disease. Amazed with his progress, doctors have medically cleared him to fight for the World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation taking on former UFC slugger, Phil “The New York Badass” Baroni. In this 3 part series you’ll get an up close look as Chris Leben continues his “fighter” storyline inside the ring, and more importantly in his life outside.
