FightWorld MMA 22 Fight Card for Feb. 19
ALBUQUERQUE, NM: FightWorld MMA is the longest-running MMA organization in what is widely considered the Mecca of mixed martial arts in Albuquerque, NM, will host FWMMA 22. This event will take place in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Fit NHB Mixed Martial Arts Complex. FightBook MMA will have the live results come fight night.

You can purchase your tickets at fightworldmma.simpletix.com and tickets start at $30 for General Admission. Event doors will open at 6:00 pm and fights will start at 7:00 pm. This is an all-ages event but if you’re under 18 you need to be accompanied by an adult.
In the main event, we will see a 205lbs Amateur Title Bout as Christopher Collins (1-0) fighting out of New Mexico will face Bobby Griego (1-0) also fighting out of New Mexico. Collins is currently ranked #1 of 8 active New Mexico Amateur Light Heavyweights. He’s stepping into the cage winning his MMA debut defeating James Romero via Guillotine Choke at FightWorld 19. Griego also won his MMA debut back in 2020 when he was able to defeat Kristopher Christian via Punches in the second round at Southwest MMA Series 30.
In the co-main event, we will see a Heavyweight showdown as Billy Ray Valdez (2-2) fighting out of New Mexico will meet Daniel Espinoza (0-0) also fighting out of New Mexico, he will be making his MMA debut. Ray Valdez is ranked #1 of 2 active New Mexico Amateur Heavyweights and is bringing a win into the cage when he defeated Tyrique Ransom at KOTC: Legendary.
FightWorld MMA was created back in 2004 by renowned MMA coach Tom Vaughn of FIT NHB in Albuquerque, NM, and continues its legacy of building combat sports legends. FightWorld MMA has featured some of the most talented professional and amateur MMA fighters to ever come out of the Duke City. Their impressive list not only features local fighters from the South West, but also includes some of the sports best-known fighters including UFC fighters Tim “The Dirty Bird” Means, Carlos “NBK” Condit, “The Angel of Death” Damacio Page, John Dodson, Thomas Schulte, Carlo Prater, and Fabian Maldonado just to name a few.
