FightWorld MMA 33: Arellano vs Miller Fight Card And Start Times

FightWorld MMA will be hosting its first event in 2024 at the iconic Revel Entertainment Center located in Albuquerque, NM. FightBook MMA will be cageside bringing you all the live results at www.FightBookMMA.com.

FightWorld MMA 33: Arellano vs Miller will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Event doors will open at 6:00 pm and fights are scheduled to start at 7:00 pm. Grab your tickets at  fightworldmma.simpletix.com.

In the main event, Ty Miller (3-0) who trains at FIT NHB and represents Albuquerque, NM will face Travis Arellano (2-0 ) training at Elite KB in El Paso, TX. Each fighter has only lost once in their careers as an am/pro (both as amateurs) and have competed on some of the top MMA promotions around, including, Fightworld, CFFC, KOTC & LFA. They are 2 of the top welterweight prospects in the Southwest.

In the co-main event, Nikko Nathan training at Force of 1 MA in Clovis, NM will take on Sterling Peak who trains out of Perez Fighting Systems in Belen, NM. This is a rematch of the 2017 SW AM fight of the year which saw Nathan edged out a decision over Peak, which was later changed to a no-contest by the NMAC.  Since then, they have both gone on to compete as professionals in both boxing and MMA.  This is going to be an absolute barnburner between two very tough, and talented fighters.

In the featured bout, Jacobo Martos fighting out of Las Cruces, New Mexico will take on the hometown favorite Ozzy “Beast Boy” Chavez fighting out of Albuquerque, NM. Martos is stepping into the cage losing his last bout against Dominic Rivera via rear naked choke at FightWorld 29. Ozzy also fought on the same card and won against Alex Diaz by ground & pound. Now both athletes will fight on the same card this time they will be going toe-to-toe and put on an exciting fight for the 505 crowd.

The remainder of the main card consists of four more all-pro fights (see card for names), for a total of 6 pro bouts on the main card.

The main event in the preliminary card features a bout between two very athletic and talented former D 1 athletes Jordan Tennyson (5-2) who trains out of Jackson Wink in Albuquerque, NM, and James Romero (2-2) training at FIT NHB in Albuquerque, NM. Jordan is a former University of Kentucky & Louisville football player who has made some strong waves in his transition to MMA and has quickly become a top amateur prospect. Romero, who spent time wrestling at Missouri before transferring to Adams State, has quickly become a fan favorite and one of the more popular fighters on the regional scene.

The co-main event of the amateur card sees Andrew Alvara (4-1) training at Borg MA in Albuquerque, NM facing Victor Santillan III (4-1) who trains out of Elite Kickboxing Academy in El Paso, TX. Alvara has 4 finishes and Santillan has 3 finishes and 1 decision in their wins. The remainder of the card features fighters from NM, TX, and CO representing the region’s top MMA gyms including FIT NHB, Jackson Wink, Sandoval Fighting Systems, Borg MA, Briggs MA, Santa Fe BJJ, Perez Fighting Systems, On Point Striking, Elite Kickboxing, Zen Martial Arts, and many more.
