“Guto” Inocente Previews Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA Debut and Calls Out Junior Dos Santos Ahead Of Showdown Against Marcos Brigagao On Friday, November 15

BILOXI, MS. – Hard-hitting Brazilian heavyweight Carlos Augusto “Guto” Inocente previewed his Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA debut before he steps into the ring against Marcos “Ironside” Brigagao in the featured bout of a stacked lineup of bareknuckle action on Friday, November 15 on the Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA YouTube Channel live from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.

A veteran of UFC and Strikeforce who’s fighting career has seen him recognized as a top-10 heavyweight, “Guto” plans to meet Brigagao in the center of the action and deliver fan-friendly action on November 15.

“Marcos knows that if we’re both standing up, I’m going to press him and go toe-to-toe a lot,” said Inocente. “He’s a great striker, but sometimes he tries to take guys down and I think he might try to do the same with me.

“Fans should tune in for a pair of great striking heavyweights. I’m very hungry to finally showcase my skills in bareknuckle. I’m coming in there with a lot of intensity and I’m ready to give the fans a great fight.”

Trained by his father Carlos in Brazil as part of the Real Kombat Technique team, Inocente has trained for years in bareknuckle and will now finally have a chance to display his new skills after his scheduled March debut was delayed.

“This has been a long, great training camp,” said Inocente. “The fight in March got delayed, so I’ve been preparing and focused on Brigagao for a while now. I’ve been training for bareknuckle for a couple of years, so it’s really exciting to finally get my first taste of a professional bareknuckle fight.”

In addition to his MMA experience, Inocente is a former kickboxing world champion with Glory, having won the Heavyweight Grand Prix and Gloryߣs 2016 Knockout of the Year award for his 40 second demolition of Demoreo Dennis. While there are stark differences in his kickboxing and MMA training, Inocente is motivated most of all by his passion for fighting, no matter the discipline.

“The training with MMA and kickboxing is totally different,” said Inocente. “The distance and striking is different, but I have a black belt in jiu-jitsu, so I’m comfortable across all these forms of fighting. I love both MMA and kickboxing, I just love to fight and compete and be the best.”

Now, Inocente will look to add bareknuckle to his extensive resume and has prepared for this new aspect of the fight game by using the famed Iron Palm method to strengthen himself ahead of November 15.

“The main way I’ve prepared is just by hitting the heavy bag with bare knuckles,” said Inocente. “I’ve also been practicing the Iron Palm techniques for years and I really think that will help me in this fight. Once I’m in the cage, I donߣt think things will be too different, it’s mostly just that I can get cut easier. I believe that I’m going to feel very comfortable in there.Éd;

While making clear that he’s not looking past his showdown against Brigagao, Inocente did reveal that his goal is an all-Brazilian showdown against the reigning Gamebred Bareknuckle Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos.

“My dream opponent would be another Brazilian heavyweight, Junior Dos Santos,” said Inocente. “He’s another great Brazilian striker like myself. I want to challenge the best and I believe that our styles would combine to give the fans incredible action and drama.”
