Gleison Tibau faces Bellator vet in Taura MMA debut

Gleison Tibau (34-14) already has a opponent lined up for his Taura MMA debut. The UFC veteran will face Chris Cisneros (19-11) at Taura 11, that will take place in Kissimmee, FL, on October 30. The show will be headlined by the light heavyweight title match between Richardson Moreira and Jonathan Wilson and include ‘Bigfoot’ Silva’s MMA return against Brett ‘Big Dog’ Martin.

Cisneros won two of his last three fights. ‘The Maverick’ started his professional career in 2005, having fought in a plethora of organizations. He has already faced renowned fighters such as Ben Saunders, Maki Pitolo and Kendall Grove and is ready to another tough challenge in Tibau. Not for nothing, the Brazilian is already studying Chris’ game.

“Cisneros is a very well-rounded fighter. He is very experienced and always deliver exciting fights. I’m doing my gameplan now, watching his fights, but I already know that he is a jack of all trades, with a good jiu-jitsu and a good striking. We will undoubtedly put on a great fight”, Gleison said.

Tickets for Taura MMA 11 start at just $35 (for two seats) and are on sale now at 1,800 tickets will be sold, according to the rules of social distance, with the Silver Spurs Arena set to hold 15,000 fans.
