Hadbi renews contract with Brave Combat Federation

Tahar Hadbi has officially renewed his fight contract with Brave Combat Federation. The welterweight fighter from Algeria had his three fight contract expired after his fight against Mohammed Fakhreddine at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises held in Amman, Jordan. There were widespread speculation regarding Hadbi leaving the promotion. This was set to an end when Had signed a multi-fight contract with the Bahrain based mixed martial arts promotion.

Hadbi had two of his bouts ending in no-contests at Brave Combat Federation including the main event against Carl Booth at Brave 5 and against Fakhreddine at Brave 9. Hadbi returned strong to win his final fight in the contract against his rival Mohammad Fakhreddine by TKO in the second round. This also made him the only fighter to have a victory over by Fakhreddine by TKO.

Hadbi had revealed that he has resumed training at the ObyFight Gym, France to prepare for bigger challenges. Jarrah Al Selawe and Carlston Harris were named as the top targets he is aiming to fight in the upcoming fights. Hadbi is the second Algerian fighter in the promotion apart from the Featherweight champion, Elias Boudegzdame.
