Heavyweight Title on the Line at KSW 67

The most dominant heavyweight champion in KSW history Phil De Fries (20-6) will defend his title against the number one contender Darko Stosic (16-4) in the main event of KSW 67 on February 26 in Warsaw, Poland.

De Fries has been a juggernaut in recent years and is currently riding an impressive eight-fight win-streak across M-1, Bellator, and KSW. The UK heavyweight won the vacant KSW title in his promotional debut at KSW 43 and has since defended the title five times.

This incredible run, which includes wins over KSW legend Karol Bedorf, UFC vet Luis Henrique, PRIDE vet James Thompson, & former KSW light heavyweight champ Tomasz Narkun, has meant De Fries has risen to become one of the top ranked heavyweights in the world today.

However, he now faces arguably his most dangerous opponent to date in Serbia’s Darko Stosic. The power puncher made a huge impact in his debut year with KSW winning three fights in the promotion 2021.

Stosic is undefeated at heavyweight at 15-0 and owns a scary 70% overall finishing ration with ten knockout victories and nine first-round stoppages.

The co-main event of KSW 67 will feature an exciting all-Polish welterweight battle between two fan favourites in Andrzej Grzebyk (18-4) and Adrian Bartosiński (11-0).

Grzebyk is coming in off a knockout victory over MMA legend Mariusz Zaromskis at KSW 62 while the undefeated Bartosiński scored back-to-back wins in KSW in 2021, his debut year in the promotion.

If that wasn’t enough, we have a thrilling light heavyweight clash between former title challenger Ivan Erslan (12-1) and the undefeated Hasan Mezhiev (12-0), a fighter who was one of the most sought after free agents in Europe before signing a multi-fight contract with KSW this year.
