IMMAF PRESENTS VIRTUAL TECHNICAL SEMINAR WEEK

London: The International Mixed Martial Arts (IMMAF) presents its third annual Technical Seminar Week from 12 to 16 October 2020. Due to current international restrictions on gathering and travel, IMMAF will host this year’s event online, live and on-demand.

Among a range of topics from good governance in sport; visualisation for elite performance; and regulatory affairs to a social media workshop and an MMA FIT work-out class, highlight topics are set to include:

  • an exclusive overview of IMMAF’s forthcoming program for  4 – 11 year old children: “Lets Mix Martial Arts”
  • “COVID – What we know, what we can do,” with the IMMAF Medical Committee’s Dr H. Wang

The IMMAF President and CEO in their welcome talk can also be expected make some key  announcements. Meanwhile, two assemblies will take place – the Women’s Commissions’ Congress and the (all) Commissions Assembly.

Of the Seminar Week, IMMAF President Kerrith Brown, commented:

“While the global lock-down has restricted the organisation of competitions and physical events, the IMMAF family has used the time opportunity to focus on governance and upskilling as we continue to strive to meet the highest standards, with the aim to come back stronger in 2021. This Seminar Week presents an opportunity for IMMAF to come together again as a community, and we are pleased to offer members a range of educational seminars to assist the continued development and growth of their organisations during this time.”

IMMAF members interested in attending, should contact their National Federation for information.
