Mohammed Farhad had to travel 2,955 kilometers from his home country of India to Bahrain for his return to action under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner after 12 months since he last set foot inside the cage.
Fortunately for him, the 32-year-old veteran doesn’t need to feel that he is far from home as the Indian community in Bahrain gathered at the lobby of the elegant Wyndham Garden Manama to express their support for his upcoming bout.
Farhad is slated to compete on the supporting card of BRAVE CF 57 on Friday, March 11, where he will be squaring off against Egypt’s Maysara Mohamed in a three-round bantamweight clash.
Farhad is riding high on a three-fight winning streak. His last outing in the promotion saw him attain a sensational second-round knockout victory over Uloomi Karim, solidifying his position as the No.11-ranked bantamweight in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, Maysara holds a spotless record of 5-0 with three wins coming by way of knockout. The up-and-comer from Egypt left a lasting impression in his March 2021 promotional debut, outpointing Issa Salem via unanimous decision.
BRAVE CF 57 is set to take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain, featuring three World Title bouts as its feature attractions.
