John Dodson meets Ryan Benoit at BKFC 28
Rio Rancho, NM: Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest-Growing Combat Sport, debuts in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, August 27 at the Rio Rancho Events Center.

The event will be headlined by the Women’s Flyweight World Championship between Champion Christine ‘Misfit’ Ferea, and Undefeated #2 Ranked Contender Taylor ‘Killa Bee’ Starling.
The promotion announced that UFC Vet John “The Magician” Dodson fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico will take on fellow UFC Vet Ryan Benoit fighting out of Dallas, Texas. Both fighters will be making their Bara Knuckle Fighting debut.
Dodson is coming into this fight winning his last MMA bout against Francisco Rivera Jr. by unanimous decision at XMMA 4: Bl4ck Magic. Dodson was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping vs. Team Miller and was a two-time title challenger. Dodson fought under the UFC banner from 2012-2020.
Benoit is coming into this fight with a loss against Zarrukh Adashev by a unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night: Hall vs. Strickland. Benoit has been a professional fighter since 2009 and has competed under the UFC banner Shark Fights, and the MFC. He won his UFC debut defeating Sergio Pettis at UFC 185: Pettis vs. Dos Anjos.
