King of the Cage Debuts at Sky Ute Casino on July 21 for “PERENNIAL”

Ignacio, Colorado King of the Cage debuts at Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio, Colorado on Saturday, July 21, 2018. The promotion will be hosting KOTC: PERENNIAL. This event will be broadcast in over 50 million U.S. households on MAVTV. MAVTV is currently available on DIRECTV (channel 214), Verizon Fios (channel 810), Comcast, Google Fiber, Time Warner Cable, Charter and hundreds of regional distributors.

In the main event we will see a pair of Jr. Welterweights (160 lbs.) as Chris Jones from Durango, Colorado will be taking on Isaac London from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jones has been an active competitor, competing in dozens of Jiu Jitsu tournaments, never finishing lower than third. During his professional MMA career, he amassed a perfect 5-0 record, with all wins coming by submission or knockout. Jones relocated to Durango, CO in 2005 to open Durango Martial Arts Academy. When the doors opened in 2006, Chris was owner and head instructor of the first and only true Mixed Martial Arts/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in southwest Colorado. London is a karate instructor and a very tough competitor who is looking to take down the hometown favorite.

In the co-main event we will have the KOTC Women’s World Atomweight Title (105 lbs.) on the line. Current Champion Jayme Hinshaw from Albuquerque, New Mexico training at FIT NHB will be defending her belt agianst Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen from Houston, Texas training at Jackson-Wink. In her last fight, Hinshaw won the title impressively over the now former champion Melissa Karagianis. Nguyen is one of the top ranked fighters in the Atomweight division and one of the rising stars in MMA.

The KOTC World Jr. Welterweight Title (160 lbs.) will be on the line as Sherwin Price (4-0) from Albuquerque, New Mexico training at FIT NHB will go against Jake “Break” Adams from Wyoming training at Team Wildman. This fight will be for the vacant Jr. Welterweight World Title. Price is undefeated in both his professional and amateur career. Adams won the KOTC World Amateur Championships in 2016
