KSW 70 Results; Pudzian KO’s Materla

KSW 70 took place Saturday night, May 28, live from the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland. The world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-7) won the battle of the KSW legends with a devastating first round knockout win over former middleweight champion Michal Materla (31-9).

Pudzian was an underdog heading into the fight but the 45-year-old shocked the world once again to register his fifth straight KO/TKO victory and is now on the longest win streak of his thirteen year career in MMA.
The co-main event saw another upset win with former Chelsea FC goalkeeper Ricardo Prasel (13-3) submitting local fan favourite Daniel Omielianczuk (25-13-1). This victory moved Prasel to 2-0 in KSW and the Brazilian-German called for a shot at the title next.
Erslewhere on the card, Ivan Erslan (12-1) scored another first round KO win, Marek Samociuk (4-2) dominated former boxing champion Izu Ugonoh (1-2) in their rematch, and Radslaw Racsuzki (4-0) registered a win over former Glory kickboxing champion Jason Wilnis (2-1) a broken finger in the third round meant he was unable to continue.
