LFA 197 weigh-in results – Kuziutina vs. Guimarães

LAS VEGAS, Nevada —  CAJAMAR, São Paulo, Brazil — On Thursday, November 21st, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 197: Kuziutina vs. Guimarães from the Ibis Tamboré in Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil. In the main event, LFA interim women’s strawweight champion Natasha “Kuzya” Kuziutina (6-1) defends her title against top contender Yasmin Guimarães (8-1).

LFA 197,  presented by MONSTER ENERGY,  will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth by top-ranked UFC star Caio “The Natural” Borralho. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of Brazilian media personality Tiago Pamplona, who will work alongside UFC star and former LFA interim light-heavyweight champion Rodolfo “Trator” Bellato. They will call the action live inside the Ginásio do Polvilho in Cajamar, São Paulo, Brazil. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.

Felipe Oliveira, Thaiany Lopes, and Maria Vaz failed to make their contracted weight when they stepped on the scale. They will now forfeit a portion of their purses to their opponents. LFA 197 will proceed with fourteen bouts, which includes the Interim Women’s Strawweight Championship at the top of the card.
