Lightweight prospect from Midland, Texas Michael Dutchover talks COVID-19


Lightweight Michael Dutchover (13-1, 10 KOs) is a top-flight prospect from Midland, Texas who signed with Thompson Boxing Promotions and Banner Promotions in October 2016. The Texas native won numerous regional tournaments as an amateur and was a runner up at the 2016 National Golden Gloves competition in the 132-pound division. 

Michael Ducthover’s last fight was against Thomas Mattice in the main event of ShoBox: The New Generation that was televised Live on SHOWTIME on September 20, 2019. Dutchover took the fight to Mattice and was up on two of the three judges scorecards entering the eighth round. In that round, Dutchover was cut over the left eye from a punch. That punch stopped the fight with Dutchover ahead fo the scorecards with 69-64, 68-65 while Mattice was ahead on one card 67-66.
