Marcel Grabinski Puts Premium On Preparation Against Lucas Martins

Frankfurt, Germany – Marcel Grabinski will step inside the cage for the second time this year as he is set to face former BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion Lucas “Mineiro” Martins on August 21st. Both men are booked to square off against each other on the supporting card of the highly-anticipated BRAVE CF 53, which takes place in Almaty, Kazakhstan—the promotion’s second trip to the country.

Grabinski was supposed to face Martins at BRAVE CF 51: The Future Is Here in Minsk, Belarus this past June, but he was deemed unable to compete by the medical staff at the time a few minutes before they could actually make their walk towards the cage.

With the Bahrain-based outfit scheduling the encounter on August 21, Grabinski assured that he is more than prepared to settle the score with Martins.

“I have had a very long preparation, eight to ten weeks for Belarus and eight to ten weeks for Almaty. That’s almost half a year of exercise, diet, and everything every single day. I’m really looking forward to the fight and I’m more than ready,” he shared with confidence.

“I haven’t made any major changes in my preparation,” Grabinski continued. “I was well prepared in all areas. The only thing that I have changed is that I did my sparring at the MMA Spirit in Frankfurt. The reason for this is that they are the best fighters from Europe.”

Grabinski treats his cage meeting with Martins as a fresh start, expressing his determination to push his stature further towards the upper echelon of the 155-pound weight class. “This bout might act as my doorway to new and greater things in my professional career. Surely, I am not losing hope,” he said.
