MMA legend Ken Shamrock starts his own bare-knuckle boxing promotion

MMA legend and UFC Vet Ken Shamrock is starting his own bare-knuckle boxing promotion as he announced the news on Tuesday, July 9.

The promotion will be called Valor Bare Knuckle and will hold its first fight card on September 21 at 4 Bears Casino in North Dakota.

Shamrock is an MMA pioneer who fought at UFC 1 back in November 1993. He remained active as an MMA fighter until 2016 as he was defeated by Royce Gracie at Bellator 149: Shamrock vs. Gracie via TKO (Knee and Punches).
