Mohammad Yahya Retains And Ali Alqaisi Wins Third Title UAE Warriors 29: Arabia Results

Yas Island, Abu Dhabi: The third and final event of UAE Warriors’ triple-header took place earlier today, March 27, broadcast around the word on UFC Fight Pass live from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

UAE Warriors 29: Arabia saw Mohammad Yahya (11-3) successfully defend his UAE Warriors Arabia lightweight title against Mohamed El Jaghdal (7-5). In a hard fought contest, Yahya snuck in an arm-triangle choke in the final minute of the five-round fight to retain the championship in the main event.

In the co-main event, Jordan’s Ali Alqaisi (12-5) won his third straight title in as many fights with a unanimous decision victory over Ahmed Faress (16-5). The UFC veteran lifted the UAE Warriors Arabia featherweight title after being crowned the TITAN FC and UAE Warriors featherweight champion in his previous two fights, respectively. 

At UAE Warriors 27: Africa on Friday, March 25, Wisem Hammami (7-0) became the first ever UAE Warriors Africa champion while last night, Saturday, March 26, saw Ireland’s Will Fleury (10-4) and Canada’s Corinne Laframboise (8-4) claim UAE Warriors gold with their respective victories at UAE Warriors 28: International.
