UFC Fight Night London has received another high-profile pairing for its March 19. event – with a light heavyweight tangle between renowned finishers, the #9 ranked, Nikita Krylov, and the #11 rated challenger, Paul Craig officially confirmed for The O2 Arena showcase.

Most recently featuring at UFC 267 back in October in Abu Dhabi, UAE – Ukraine native, Krylov suffered a unanimous decision loss against common-foe and upcoming main event feature, Magomed Ankalaev over the course of three rounds.

For Craig, the surging Scottish submission specialist lodged his third consecutive victory back in June at UFC 263 – taking home a first round ground strikes win over Jamahal Hill from his back during an early grappling scramble. The win earned Craig a Performance of the Night bonus. The UFC officially confirmed the pairing across their social media platforms

26-8 as a professional, Krylov, a former Fight Nights Global light heavyweight champion, has so far established a 2-3 promotional record since his second UFC tenure began back in 2018.

The renowned finisher boasts 10 knockout wins to go with 15 submission stoppages, and since his return to the UFC, he has stopped Ovince Saint Preux – a former interim light heavyweight title challenger, and managed a unanimous judging win over Johnny Walker in the latter’s native Brazil.

Scottish Hit Squad staple and Airdrie native, Craig has managed to land 12 submission victories from his 15 total career wins. 

In a real standout win for the 34-year-old former BAMMA light heavyweight best, he submitted the aforenoted, Ankalaev with just a second to go in their March 2018 UFC Fight Night London clash, courtesy of a hail mary triangle. 

UFC Fight Night London is booked to take place on March 19. – with a light heavyweight main event bout between former event headliner, Alexander Volkov and the surging home town favorite, Tom Aspinall taking main event status.
