Kazakhstan’s Nurzhan Akishev accomplished one of the biggest goals in his professional career back in January, when he made his international debut, against Roman Bogatov, at BRAVE Combat Federation’s 46th edition.
But not everything went according to his plans and the fight ended up going his opponent’s way, with unanimous decision victory in favor of Russia’s Bogatov.
Now, headlining his first card and competing in front of his home crowd in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Akishev is ready to fulfil what’s left in his initial mission and get his first promotion win, and finish, under the BRAVE CF banner.
“I’m excited to fight against Tae Kyun Kim on August 21st in Almaty”, he said. “I know that he’s undefeated and dangerous. That’s the reason why I came to BRAVE CF – to challenge the toughest opponents. I’m ready to test him inside the cage, and on 21st august Kim will face his first loss against me. I am going to take my first victory in BRAVE”.
Nurzhan Akishev and Tae Kyun Kim meet at the main event of the evening for BRAVE CF 53, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event is co-hosted by the local promoters of Octagon Fight.
