Official weigh-in results for tonight’s Combat Americas: Tucson Unbreakable event
The official weigh-ins took place on Thursday for tonights “Combat Americas: Tucson Unbreakable, presented by Cricket Wireless.”
In the main event, José “Pochito” Alday came in at 135.0 pounds and Juan Pablo “El Molo” González stepped on the scale at 135.4 pounds. Both fighters weighed in without problems.
However, the American Dominick Tim weighed in at 147.4 pounds and was over the weight limit for his bout with Ivan Tena who did make weight coming in at 144.8 pounds. Tim will forfiet 20% of his fight purse.
Another one of the fighters who could not beat the scale was Joel Champion coming in at 194.8 pounds who came over the limit of his agreed weight fight at 190 pounds against Javier “Chunty Boy” Torres as he weighed in at 189.2 pounds. Champion will forfeit 40% of his purse.
“Combate Americas: Tucson Unbreakable, presented by Cricket Wireless” will be held tonight Friday, June 7, from El Casino del Sol in Tucson, Arizona and will be broadcast in Spanish through Univision (12 am ET / PT) and UDN (12 am ET / 9 pm PT) and in English for the United States and Canada by DAZN (10 pm ET / 7 pm PT).
