OKTAGON 53 Weigh-In Results: Strawweight title fight official

All fighters competing at OKTAGON 53 tomorrow night (Saturday, February 10) officially made weight earlier today in Oberhausen, Germany. Rudolf Weber-Arena hosts an exciting card where history could be made and the welterweight division features heavily.

OKTAGON 53 will be broadcast live on OKTAGON.TV internationally as well as worldwide on the global platform, DAZN, in all markets except from CZ/SK/DE. In Germany, the event will be available exclusively on PPV. Fans in the UK/Ireland can tune in on Channel 4 and RMC Sport will broadcast the event for viewers in France. The action begins at 5pm GMT/6pm CET/12pm ET/9am CT.

In the main event, Katharina Dalisda (10-3) looks to defend her strawweight title for the first time in a rematch against Frenchwoman, Eva Dourthe (8-5), and ‘Tigress’ will become the most successful female fighter ever in OKTAGON MMA if she gets her hand raised. Hot prospect, Islam Dulatov (9-1), makes his highly anticipated promotional debut in the co-headliner when he faces tough veteran, Ioannis Palaiologos (20-12-1), at welterweight.

Surging Czech favourite, Miroslav Brož (16-3-1), takes on English newcomer, Tom Crosby (8-3-1), in a welterweight contest where the victor could break into the top ten of the rankings. In another feature bout, talented grappler, Hojat Khajevand (7-3), squares off with UFC and PFL veteran, David Zawada (18-9), at middleweight in an important matchup for the division.

Elsewhere on the card, former Glory kickboxer, Cihad Akipa (6-1), throws down with the much more experienced, Ivica Trušček (42-39), after the welterweight pair had a scuffle at the pre-fight press conference. OKTAGON MMA mainstays, Jan Malach (15-14) and Jaroslav Pokorný (16-10), also return to competition in separate bouts.
