The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, is set for the third installment of the PFL Challenger Series at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. The event airs live exclusively on fuboTV this Friday, March 4 at 9 pm ET.
The PFL Challenger Series continues Friday with four women’s lightweight (155 lbs.) bouts headlined by a pair of European kickboxers. The Czech Republic’s Martina Jindrová will square off with Portugal’s Jaqueline Cavalcanti in what should be a showcase of talented strikers. Jindrova (3-2) has won multiple titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai throughout her career and began her transition to MMA in 2018. Cavalcanti (2-0) was born in Brazil before moving to Portugal. She is a lifelong martial artist who has completed in judo, capoeira and taekwondo before turning professional as a kickboxer. Both women will be making their North American debuts on Friday.
Jackie Cataline is a two-time Junior National Champion wrestler and a two-time Olympic trial competitor for the United States. She was also the 2006 ASICS High School Wrestler of the Year. After coming up just short in her second Olympic team bid, Cataline (making her pro debut) shifted her focus to MMA. She will be taking on Utah’s Camee Adams who trains out of UFC legend Jeremy Horn’s Elite Performance gym. Adams (3-2 amateur, pro debut) is a freestyle fighter who prefers to utilize her striking in the cage.
German Julia Dorny (2-0) will take on American Jeslen Mishelle (5-0 amateur, pro debut) while Michelle Montague (11-2 amateur, pro debut) from New Zealand will square off with American Olivia Parker (4-2) to round out the card.
