Results of the seventh edition of Desafio Almeida Bros de Lutas
Last weekend, on April 6 and 7, in the city of Resende, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, it hosted the Seventh Edition of the Desafio Almeida Bros de Lutas , which was a success, with the public present and during the two day event.
On Saturday, the Fit Form Training Center’s Octógono went up to the novice athletes, beginners and advanced of the Boxing and Muay Thai modalities, as well as the Blue and Purple Bands of JiuJitsu.
The fighting infected the crowd that cheered and encouraged the warriors at all times.
The highlight of Saturday, was the athlete of Queluz, São Paulo, João Paulo Cardoso, who in the main fight of the day got a beautiful knockout after applying a precise kick in the rib of the hitherto undefeated Emerson Ramos representative of Valencia in the category K1 – Rules.
On Sunday, the Kids Festival kids opened the day with great fights of MuayThai and JiuJitsu, following the black Belts took action and gave a show of technique and disposition over the Cage and in the long awaited K1 Rules fight between the local Cecília Oliveira and Viviane Nogueira from Volta Redonda – Rio de Janeiro , who after a hard and well-balanced fight in the first two rounds, ended when Cecilia felt bad at the interval and could not return to the last round, leaving the victory to Viviane Nogueira who celebrated much and redeemed himself from the last loss to the rival.
In the first MMA match of the night, the revelation of Resende Patrick de Jesus hit a header in the head of Maicom Flausino who already fell unconscious in the first round, winning the knockout of the night.
The experienced Genilton “Van Damme” Tavares at the age of 49, gave a show apart, by hitting a beautiful kick jumping and using the grid in the best style Anthony Pettis, and raised the audience throughout the fight against the experienced athlete Volta Redonda – Rio de Janeiro, David “Tatu” Magliano that sold expensive to defeat in the split decision by the lateral referees.
In the most awaited fight of the night, using the lightweight belt of the challenge, Cristiano “Greco” Cruz broke into the local idol Silvio Toledo and hit a series of blows after a violent kick that hit Silvio with no defense chances, referee Marlon Myhha interrupt the match early in the opening round.
