Shauna Bannon headlines Cage Legacy 16 in flyweight title clash against Chi Attoh

An undisputed flyweight title fight between recently minted strawweight division champion, Shauna Bannon and Chi Attoh has been booked to take main event status at Cage Legacy 16 on June 10. from the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne, Meath.

Bannon, who made her professional debut just earlier this month at Cage Legacy 15, made good on her professional mixed martial arts transition with a second round knockout win over Kerry Isom to successfully land the inaugural Cage Legacy strawweight crown. She will attempt to become a two-division champion on June 10. as she makes the flyweight climb to tackle the above mentioned, Attoh.

Having established an 8-3 amateur record, the IMMAF (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) alum, who plys her trade at Holohan Martial Arts in Tallaght, Dublin – confirmed the news of her matchup against challenger, Attoh on her official Instagram account.

“Yous ready for another finish and title?” Shauna Bannon posted on Instagram. “Any companies who would like to sponsor me for this even (sic) please DM me asap. @pillohotelashbourne 10th June I’ll have tickets soon. @cagelegacymma flyweight title opponent Chi Attoh 3-0.”

Featuring at the IMMAF World Cup last year, Springfield native, Bannon managed to scoop gold with Team Ireland, adding to a prior silver medal achievement back in 2019 at the organization’s World Championships. Bannon trains under former UFC flyweight contender, Paddy Holohan at the capital facility.

The former amateur Cage Legacy flyweight titleholder made good on her professional debut against the aforenoted, Isom, forcing a stoppage in the second round to a raucous ovation after landing a slew of notable ground strikes against her opponent

Undefeated as a professional mixed martial artist, Lagos, Nigeria native, Attoh will make her fourth professional walk when paired with Bannon – boasting a 3-0 record ahead of the undisputed flyweight title matchup.
