Taura MMA inks TUF winner Reginaldo Vieira, UFC vet Danny Martinez
Taura MMA is proud to announce that bantamweight Reginaldo Vieira and flyweight Danny Martinez are bolstering our roster. Also, the Brazilian organization has signed two prospects: Nicolas Cocuccio (10-3-1) and Luana Santos, who will make her professional debut at the promotion.
Vieira (13-6) won the fourth season of “The Ultimate Fighter Brasil”, aired by TV Globo in 2015. Since, he fought just three times – twice at UFC. The 37-year-old will face an opponent to be determined soon.
Martinez (21-9), in turn, hasn’t even debuted yet and is already a threat to Felipe Gheno’s flyweight crown. But ‘Gremlin”s journey at Taura won’t be a pushover: his division is filled with great talents, such as José Maria ‘No Chance’, Bruno ‘Korea’ Mesquita e Allan ‘Puro Osso’ Nascimento, all of them former UFC fighters as well.
Taura also reinforced its commitment to the new generation of Latin American MMA by signing Argentinian lightweight Nicolas Cocuccio, who won seven of his last eight bouts. His high-paced fights will undoubtedly excite the MMA fans – his last four ended by the way of knockout or submission.
