Well lots to report on this truly historic season of The Ultimate Fighter, so let’s waste no time.
Firstly we start at the business side of the matter, which being the sale tickets for the event. Tickets for The Ultimate Fighter Finale go on sale Friday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. PT and are priced at $300, $175 and $85. Tickets will be available at the Pearl Concert Theater Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations.
UFC Fight Club® members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to this event Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. PT via the website. A special internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers Thursday, Oct. 23 starting at 10 a.m. PT. To access this presale, users must register for the UFC newsletter through UFC.com.
Now that we got that out of the way, on to the fun part, the fights. We all know this season the UFC will crowing a champion in a newly minted division (hence the name “A Champion Will Be Crowned”). All of the best female 115lbers in the world are competing on this season, names like Carla Esparaza, JoJo Calderwood, Tecia Torrez and Felice Herrig just to name a few. The very best in the world settling things in the tournament form is what many fans ask for.
Along with the world title fight, featherweights Jeremy Stevens and Charles Oliveira will be facing off.
Stevens is looking to bounce back after losing to Cub Swanson in June of this year. While Oliveira is currently riding a 2 fight win streak, defeating Hatsu Hioki and Andy Ogle earlier this year.
Lightweights KJ Noons and Daron Cruickshank will be squaring off December 12th. Noons who only needed 30 seconds to KO Sam Stout in April is looking to extend his 2 fight win streak. Cruickshank is fighting for the fifth time in 2014, with impressive wins over Erik Koch and Anthony Njokuani.
Joe Proctor (10-2) will be taking on Yancy Medeiros (10-2 with 1 no contest) in the lightweight division.
