Monday January 25, 2016– BAMMA is excited to announce that international Kickboxing & MMA sensation Tyrone ‘King Of The Ring’ Spong and UK MMA Standout Luke ‘Bigslow’ Barnatt will be joining BAMMA 24 as team captains for Team Ireland vs. Team England.
Heading up Team Ireland, Tyrone ‘King of the Ring’ Spong is a world renowned Kickboxer and MMA fighter. Born in Suriname and raised in Amsterdam, Spong has competed across the world for various global organisations. Training alongside the likes of Anthony Johnson and Rashad Evans at the Blackzillians team in the US, Spong has always carried huge support from the Irish public and often speaks of his close connection to the country.
Tyrone will be heading up Team Ireland at BAMMA 24 and will bring his global experience to the team in this clash of sporting nations.
Team England’s captain is no stranger to BAMMA, Luke ‘Bigslow’ Barnett returns to the promotion after the very successful behind the scenes documentary ‘Unfiltered’ at BAMMA 23: Night of Champions. Having also previously fought on BAMMA 9: Watson vs. Marshman, Barnatt will be able to bring the England team a wealth of experience as they take on the ultra tough Team Spong.
Following on from the hugely sucessful BAMMA 22 at the 3Arena last year, get ready for nations to collide as Team Ireland go head to head with Team England.

First BAMMA 25 Matchups Announced
BAMMA is proud to announce BAMMA 25 at the Barclaycard Arena Birmingham, on Saturday 14th May 2016. The first bouts to be announced are the Welterweight battle between crowd favourite Colin ‘Freakshow’ Fletcher and Walter ‘The Sniper’ Gahadza. Also announced is the long awaited showdown between bitter rivals Marc ‘Bonecrusher’ Diakiese and Kane ‘Black Bane’ Mousah. With the main event & title fights soon to be added with a full supporting undercard, BAMMA 25 is set to be one of the biggest MMA events of the year.

Rany Saadeh Re-Signs With BAMMA
BAMMA Flyweight Champion Rany Saadeh has recently signed a new contract with the promotion on a multi-fight deal. One of the most exciting prospects in the European Flyweight division, Rany last defended his Flyweight title against Shaj ‘Superman’ Haque at BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions.
The team IMAG fighter is now firmly in the crosshairs of all the fighters in the BAMMA Flyweight division, and with his newly penned contract fans can expect fireworks in this division in the coming year.
Upon signing his contract extension Rany said:
