UFC 176 Fight Card Update

Bethe Correia (8-0) v. Shayna Bazler (15-8) is set for UFC 176

On Monday the UFC officially announced that Shayna Bazler will be making UFC debut at UFC 176, against Bethe Correia.

Bethe Corrieia is coming two victories since her debut and has a undefeated record. With a win over Shanya Bazler she is hoping for a chance at the leader of four horse women, Ronda Rousey. Bethe Correia has had 2 wins since joining the UFC, with a win over Jessamyn Duke via decision at UFC 172 and Julie Kedzie via split decision at UFC Fight Night.

Shanya Bazler will be making her UFC debut after being defeated in the TUF quarter finals against Julianna Pena. She also suffered a loss in her last pro fight, by submission by of rear naked choke to Alexis Davis at Invicta FC 4 – Esparza vs. Hyatt.

UFC 176 will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This weekend, it was announced that the event will be headlined by a rematch for the featherweight title between current champion Jose Aldo and Team Alpha Male’s Chad Mendes.
