UFC 226 Medical Suspensions

UFC 226 took place on Saturday July 7, 2018 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card aired on pay-per-view while the prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) defeated Stipe Miocic (18-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) by knocking him out to become the second simultaneous two-division titleholder in UFC history.

In the co-main event, Derrick Lewis (20-5 MMA, 11-3 UFC) took on Francis Ngannou (11-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC). Lewis won by unanimous decision.

STIPE MIOCIC: Suspend Miocic until 09/06/18, No contact until 08/22/18

DANIEL RYAN CORMIER: Cormier must have right hand x-rayed, if positive then must have orthopedic Dr clearance or no  contest until 01/04/19; minimum suspension no contest until 08/07/18, no contact until 07/29/18

DERRICK JAMES LEWIS: Suspend Lewis until 08/07/18, No contact until 07/29/18 – acute back spasm

PAUL ROBERT FELDER: Felder must have broken right ulnar cleared by orthopedic Dr or no contest until 01/04/19  minimum suspension no contest until 09/06/18,  no contact until 08/22/18-facial/scalp lacerations

MICHAEL JOSEPH PERRY: Suspend Perry until 08/07/18 No contact until 07/29/18 – nasal laceration

ANTHONY PAUL PETTIS: Suspend Pettis until 08/07/18, No contact until 07/29/18 – lower lip laceration

GOKHAN SAKI: Suspend Saki until 09/06/18, No contact until 08/22/18

URIAH ALEXANDER HALL: Suspend Hall until 09/06/18, No contact until 08/22/18 – right hand tenderness & laceration under left eye

PAULO HENRIQUE COSTA: Costa must have left ankle and foot x-rayed, if positive then must have orthopedic Dr clearance or no contest until 01/04/19; minimum suspension no contest until 08/07/18, no contact until 07/29/18

ROBERT SPENCER FONT: Suspend Font until 08/07/18, No contact until 07/29/18

LANDON ANTHONY VANNATA: Suspend Vannata until 08/07/18, No contact until 07/29/18 – left ankle tenderness & three facial lacerations

CURTIS MARQUIR MILLENDER: Suspend Millender until 08/07/18, No contact until 07/29/18

GILBERT ALEXANDER PONTES BURNS: Suspend Burns until 08/22/18, No contact until 08/07/18 – laceration
