Ultimate Fighting Championship officials Wednesday confirmed another exciting fight for the already talent packed card. The UFC now has added a bantamweight showdown for UFC 175, with Urijah Faber facing Alex Caceres.
Faber (30-7) a former WEC featherweight Champion is coming off a controversial TKO loss to Renan Barao, at UFC 169 back in February. With a 9-3 record since entering the UFC, two of those losses were to Renan Barao. The first loss was at UFC 149 by a decision. Faber then got his rematch with Barao at UFC 169 where he lost by a controversial loss by TKO in the first round. He also had a loss to Dominick Cruz at UFC 132. He has notable wins over Michael McDonald, Iuri Alcantara, Scott Jorgensen and Eddie Wineland.
Alex Caceres (10-5) first appeared on The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck. Alex Caceres is now a #12 ranked fighter in the official UFC bantamweight rankings. He last appearance back in January he submitted Sergio Pettis at UFC on Fox 10. Caceres would have been on a fight win streak if he didn’t fail a drug test at UFC on Fuel TV 8 against Kyung Ho Kang ruling it a no contest.
UFC 175 is scheduled to be headlined by a middleweight title fight between champion Chris Weidman and challenger Lyoto Machida.

Ronda Rousey vs. Alexis Davis – for women’s bantamweight title
