ONE Championship announced that the promotion has signed Korean-Japanese fighter Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama. Akiyama made his Octagon debut at UFC 100 back in July 2009. He’s a UFC veteran of six years and he hasn’t fought since losing a split decision to Alberton Mina at UFC Fight Night 79. In his native Korea he’s known as Choo Sung-hoon, Akiyama is famous outside of fighting as he made some appearances in various reality TV shows including a regular role as a celebrity dad in The Return of Superman.
