KSW 54: WBA, WBO & IBF Heavyweight Boxing Champ’s MMA Debut is Official

Born in Poland to Nigerian parents, Izu Ugonoh will officially make his highly anticipated MMA debut in the co-main event at KSW 54 on August 29 in Warsaw, Poland.

The 33-year-old posted an impressive 18-2 (15 TKOs) record in boxing and won multiple international boxing titles including the IBF Mediterranean, WBO African, and WBA Oceania heavyweight titles. Prior to his professional boxing career he was a rising star in kickboxing and won the the WAKO World K1 Championships in 2009.

It was revealed last month that Ugonoh had officially signed for KSW and recently it was confirmed that his opponent will be former Glory heavyweight Quentin ‘Ruskov’ Domingos (5-1). The Polish superstar set up camp at the renowned WCA gym in Warsaw, Poland, home to the likes of Jan Blachowicz, Daniel OmielaÅ„czuk, Olympic medalist Damian Janikowski, and KSW legend Lukasz Jurkowski.

Hailing from France with a close connection to Portugal, Quentin Domingos burst onto the European MMA scene just two years ago. His size, stature, unique look, and bruising fighting style made him a fan favourite in France and Belgium. Now this 6-foot-3 beast will step up and make his KSW debut aiming to register the most high profile win of his career and ruin the MMA debut of Izu Ugonoh.
