LFA 210: Lawrence vs. Reyes set for June 13

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — LFA CEO Ed Soares announced today that the promotion will have a new main event when it returns to Kentucky on the second Friday in June. The change came after Brazilian prospect Willian “Malvadeza” Lima withdrew with an injury. LFA 210 will now feature a new featherweight showdown when the promotion returns to the Bluegrass State. This will be the third LFA event to take place in the state and its second event to be hosted in the state’s most populous city of Louisville.

LFA 210: Lawrence vs. Reyes, presented by MONSTER ENERGY, takes place Friday, June 13th at Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The new main event will feature a featherweight showdown between top prospects Lance “The Tornado” Lawrence and Javier “Blair” Reyes. The entire main card will be available worldwide on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Tickets for LFA 210: Lawrence vs. Reyes are available for purchase through Ticketmaster.com.

“We are excited to bring the LFA back to Louisville, Kentucky at LFA 210,” stated Soares. “We made our first trip to Louisville last year and we are thrilled to return to Kentucky’s biggest city this summer. Louisville is the home of Muhammad Ali and has a long history and appreciation for combat sports. This was on full display last year with the UFC hosting an event in Louisville just two months after our successful debut in the city. We will now add to that history with another fight card stacked with top international, national, and regional talent. The main event features Louisville’s own Lance Lawrence, who is the top MMA prospect in the state and a veteran of Dana White’s Contender Series. He will face Javier Reyes, who is a former LFA title challenger and the top MMA prospect from Colombia. There will be a lot at stake when they meet in the main event of LFA 210.”

Lawrence (9-4) is a man that has long been considered one of the top MMA prospects in “The Bluegrass State”. In fact, after beginning his professional MMA career with a perfect 5-0 record, he was invited to compete on the third season of Dana White’s Contender Series in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lawrence would face top undefeated prospect Kevin Syler. The Bolivian hit the scale a whopping 6.5 pounds over the weight limit, but the Kentuckian showed his fighting spirit and took the fight anyway. That gameness has been his calling card in the LFA as well. After going 2-0 in the promotion last year, Lawrence was nominated for three LFA Fans’ Choice Awards: Male Fighter of the Year, Fight of the Year, and Submission of the Year. Now “The Tornado” is ready to bring a whirlwind of excitement back to his hometown of Louisville in the main event of LFA 210.

Reyes (20-5) is a man that likes to stay active. After compiling 30 wins as an amateur and 20 wins as a pro, the top Colombian prospect will be competing in his third fight of 2025 in a span of 78 days. That is one high-level fight every 26 days. This run started at the end of March to kick off a big UFC fight week in Mexico City, continued in May in the LFA 208 headliner in Santa Cruz, and now continues in June in the main event of LFA 210, when the LFA returns to Louisville. Reyes has become the face of MMA in Colombia after dominating the fight scene in Latin America and winning multiple regional titles. Hailing from his nation’s capital city of Bogotá, Reyes began practicing parkour with his group called “Warriors of the Street”. His dynamic parkour skills have carried over to MMA, making him a can’t miss prospect among fight fans and media alike.
