Lorawnt Nelson vs. Samuel Liera II Headlines BKB 42 as Paulie Malignaggi Eyes Historic Bareknuckle Return

THE rematch of the year is only hours away !

Lorawnt T ‘Smash’ Nelson is the pound for pound No 1, a two-weight world champion who’s beaten everyone he’s ever fought – with one exception.

Samuel Liera got the decision over ‘Smash’ in December, 2022 and they do it all over again in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday night.

Samuel is 7-0, ‘Smash’ is coming off a career-high rematch win over James Connelly in Wolverhampton and we can expect to see one of the fights of the year.

If you can’t get there, you can see all the action from BKB 42 on TalkSport, Vice TV, Fuse, Fight Network and BEIN.

The big news this week is that Paulie Malignaggi has signed a three-fight deal with us at BYB Extreme and looking to make sporting history.

Paulie wants to be remembered as a world champion bareknuckle boxer as well as a world champion gloved boxer.

He won world titles with gloves at light-welterweight and welterweight and fought every single top fighter of his era.

Look at Paulie’s record on BoxRec for proof of that.

On possibly his best night he went to the Ukraine and upset 32-0 Vyacheslav Senchenko for the WBA welterweight title.

Paulie completely outboxed Senchenko in front of his home crowd that night.

Paulie showed incredible toughness in fights with Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan, Zab Judah and more.

Paulie has fought – and won – with broken bones.

Make no mistake, he has what it takes to compete in the trigon.

Paulie has made a successful career as a commentator since retiring from fighting, but clearly the urge to fight, to test himself hasn’t gone away.
