Paddy Pimblett could face Donald Cerrone in March
Donald Cerrone and Chael Sonnen are currently working on a movie together. While discussing his next fight with Sonnen, he claims that ‘Cowboy’ is looking for a fight. Interestingly, he has Paddy Pimblett in his radar.
In the video above, Chael Sonnen states that Cerrone is looking to make a comeback. He said that ‘Cowboy’ has already contacted the UFC for a match in March 2022.
Sonnen said in the video: “Sitting with Cowboy in between doing takes, and Cowboy had told me two days ago ‘I am fighting march fifth.” Cerrone then asked Sonnen what he knows about ‘The Baddy: “And he says, ‘what do you know about this Pimblam, Paddy, Pavley, Patty, Plimblin?’ I said you are talking about Paddy the Baddy.” Sonnen continued: “So, he’s on something known as the internet, he brings up Paddy. Paddy’s at 155. So, Cowboy starts saying ‘yeah, I think maybe this is my guy.”

The 38-year-old Cowboy Cerrone has dropped five of his last six fights, including losses to former champions Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson.
The 26-year-old Paddy Pimblett recently made his UFC debut against Luigi Vendramini. ‘The Baddy’ scored a first-round TKO victory against the Brazilian after surviving an early onslaught.
