ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III features the highly anticipated World Championship trilogy bout between reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion and MMA legend Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and former divisional king Adriano Moraes. This article is sponsored by John Tyler Brand.

This event is set for May 5 at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado. The event will broadcast live and free on Amazon Prime Video at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT for all subscribers in the U.S. and Canada.

ONE women’s strawweight Muay Thai contender Jackie Buntan began her martial arts journey as a pre-teen training at Boxing Works in Southern California with renowned Muay Thai coach Bryan Popejoy and ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet Todd.

Buntan’s hard work and dedication to Muay Thai eventually earned her the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2018 IFMA Pan American Championship, where she earned a win for her country.

The Filipino-American made her ONE debut in 2021, scorching Thai rising star Nat
“Wondergirl” Jaroonsak. Her ambition to become the ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai
World Champion was halted when she met now-divisional queen Smilla Sundell, but Buntan
has since bounced back and is aiming for another shot at divisional gold.

5 Interesting Facts About Buntan:

  • Buntan competed in the first-ever ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title fight in
    April 2022.
  • Buntan is the main training partner of reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion
    Janet Todd.
  • Buntan is a first-generation Filipino-American and recently traveled to the Philippines to meet
her relatives for the first time.

Australian striker Diandra Martin may have started her martial arts journey a little later than
most athletes, but she’s making up for lost time in a big way.

The Canberra native began training in Muay Thai when she was 20 years old, primarily for self-defense and fitness purposes. But after getting a taste of the competition, she enjoyed it more than she had expected. With a burning desire to improve her techniques and take her skills to the next level, she joined MuayU Gym in Canberra, which is the home of ISKA K-1 World Champion and former ONE World Title challenger Josh “Timebomb” Tonna.

Once she turned pro, Martin collected 10 wins against top fighters in the ultra-competitive Aussie Muay Thai scene. In 2021, she earned a massive head-kick knockout over South African-Australian legend Yolanda Schmidt, announcing to the world that she is ready for the spotlight.

The Canberra striker took her talents to the global stage of ONE Championship in February 2022, where she made her debut against Swedish prodigy Smilla Sundell. It was a thrilling contest, but Sundell earned the victory and would claim the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title in her next fight.

With the valuable lessons she learned from her first promotional appearance, Martin returned with a vengeance and defeated British star Amber Kitchen in her next bout. Now, she looks to build some momentum by taking out former ONE World Title challenger Jackie Buntan at the historic ONE Fight Night 10.

5 Interesting Facts About Martin:
