Abdisalam Kubanychbek’s reputation precedes him. Throughout his reign of terror at BRAVE CF, he has stepped up in competition, as well as in performance. Now, he will have the chance to become the organization’s interim Lightweight champion with views to eventually facing lineal titleholder Ahmed Amir.
Kubanychbek takes on former champ Amin Ayoub as one of the three title fights for BRAVE CF 57. The show takes place on March 11th, at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Kyrgyz superstar is widely regarded as the number one male fighter in his country and has been on a tear since joining BRAVE CF – four wins in four fights, with four stoppages to his name.
Most recently, Kubanychbek competed in his first main event – a destruction of 2020 Fighter of The Year Rolando Dy, who had a ”no mas” moment reminiscent of Roberto Duran after two rounds with ”Omok” at BRAVE CF 47.
As he readies himself for the biggest challenge of his career, Kubanychbek understands a new approach might be needed to get past Ayoub. The level of competition, having to step in the scale at 155lbs (after troubles with making weight), and a five-round fight are new scenarios for Abdisalam. But if a new win comes on March 11th, the legend grows and the most feared man in BRAVE CF confirms his reputation.
