AEW Double or Nothing 2023 Preview.
That said, although he brings baggage, he gets attention, buzz, and a reason to be excited, especially after the last nine months.
Like every other AEW event, this event is also stacked with in-ring quality players. Starting from the main event, MJF will be once again making the people excited as he prepares to face three still-developing stars (Jack Perry, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara) in AEW. Initially, he was scheduled to meet them in April, but now he will fight on the big stage against the winner of the Four Pillars Tournament.
Where can I watch AEW Double or Nothing 2023?
B/R Live will be streaming the event for $49.99 (in USA. Traditional pay-per-view will also come to a total of $49.99. PPV.com also same as $49.99. But the best way to stream Double or Nothing 2023 on Fitepass only for $19.99.
If we are being honest, none of those mentioned above stands a chance against MJF, who is far above them due to his skill set. However, one thing is guaranteed, and that’s fun. It’d be exciting to see how things will wind up in this fight, especially when AEW lacks multi-person matches for its single significant titles.
In another highly-anticipated game, Jamie Hayter will take on Toni Storm for AEW Women’s Championship. Jamie won the championship from the same opponent at AEW Full Gear 2022. Later, Storm joined Saraya and Ruby Soho and formed the Outcasts stable in a rivalry against Hayter and Britt Baker. After defeating Baker and Hikaru Shida in a tag team match, they challenged Hayter to a rematch.
The ladder match for AEW TNT Championship is another must-watch fight in this AEW event. Christian Cage asked for a title shot against Wardlow. He even cut a promo against him when Wardlow was not on the show (May 10, Dynamite Episode). The following week, Wardlow accepted his challenge to defend his title against him in a ladder match.
AEW TBS is one of the many titles in this event. Jade Cargill is in the form of her life. She defended her TBS title against two opponents the same night in back-to-back singles matches. After those wins, Taya Valkyrie showed up and challenged her to a title match at AEW ‘Double or Nothing’.
It’s worth mentioning that Taya has already tried once and failed to beat Cargill and would be looking to level things up as they meet again now.
In another critical event game, AEW World Tag Team Championship, FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) will take on Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett. Jay Lethal challenged FTR to give him and Jeff Jarrett a shot at the AEW Tag Team Championship at Double or Nothing.
Among the number of heavy matches, an unsanctioned game is also scheduled. After sustaining a career-ending injury, Adam Cole returned after almost a year and beat Daniel Garcia. This time, Adam will face his arch-rival Chris Jericho who beat down Britt Baker while Cole watched while handcuffed. But this time, things are different, and anything can happen.
Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated matches is scheduled between Orange Cassidy and 20 other wrestlers. Cassidy has defended the International Championship 21 times successfully. Twenty wrestlers went to Tony Khan and asked for a title shot. Soon after knowing this, Cassidy agreed to defend his title against all of them in a Black Jack Battle Royal.
The 20 wrestlers are Ari Daivari, Bandido, Big Bill, Brian Cage, Chuck Taylor, Dustin Rhodes, Jay White, Juice Robinson, Komander, Kip Sabian, Keith Lee, Lee Moriarty, Penta El Zero Meido, Rey Fenix Jr., Ricky Starks, Swerve Strickland, The Butcher, The Blade, Tony Nese, and Trent Baretta.
