AKA 31’s Featured Fight Showcases The Future Of A Division

AKA ends its back-to-back weeks of shows with AKA 31 from the Paragon Resort and Casino. The night’s featured fight contains two of Louisiana’s young, upcoming professionals in Abe Sellers of Gladiators Academy and Gabe Clark of Flash MMA.
A former amateur champion, Abe Sellers has now marked double-digit professional bouts and is hungry to hunt down pro gold. The first step in that journey can come at AKA 31 if he is victorious against another young lion in Gabe Clark. Dangerous on the mats, 80% of Sellers’ victories as a professional have come by submission, all in the first frame of action. The Gladiators Academy young star, under the tutelage of Louisiana MMA legends like Eric Scallan and Tim Credeur, will be making his first venture into an AKA cage.
Across the AKA cage will stand another fighter looking to make headway toward AKA professional gold in his professional debut in Gabe Clark. This will be Clark’s second AKA appearance, earning a first-round knockout at Rite of Passage 9 in August 2019. A high-completion finisher in his own right, all of Clark’s amateur victories have come by finish, 80% in the first round. Clark will prove to give Sellers a tough matchup in the night’s featured bout with his quick work rate and finishing ability. Both fighters have the ability to end this one early. It may just come down to who has the will to dominate for 15 minutes.
Doors open @ 5:30pm. Fights start @ 7pm.
