Even if Aleksander Doskalchuk is entering enemy territory for his first bout under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner, the Ukrainian standout assured that he is in no way intimidated with his opponent’s hometown advantage.
Doskalchuk is slated to battle Asu “Zulfikar” Almabaev in a three-round flyweight bout on the supporting card of BRAVE CF 53 in Almaty, Kazakhstan on August 21st.
The 31-year-old bared that he thrives on competing under pressure, especially when he has to perform to the best of his ability in front of his opponent’s compatriots.
“I know that the crowd will be against me, and fighting against a Kazakh in Kazakhstan is really dangerous. But I like challenges,” Doskalchuk said.
Doskalchuk is no stranger to fighting overseas, and so far, he has been undefeated in his four matches held outside of Ukraine. He looks to continue his winning streak abroad by adding Almabaev to his list of victims at BRAVE CF 53.
