Aliskerov aims to retain undefeated streak ahead of title race

Ikram Aliskerov had captured the European and World Combat Sambo Championships ahead of his debut at Brave Combat Federation. Aliskerov is among the next generation of athletes from Dagestan to storm into global mixed martial arts. The initial bouts of the powerhouse from Dagestan showcased strong fundamentals that caught opponents by surprise. However the consistency of victories and ferocity of the fighting style improved and had set a mark upon the latest prospect from Dagestan, Russia as he started accumulating victories over established fighters at Brave Combat Federation.

Ikram made his promotional debut at Brave Combat Federation with a submission victory over Rufat Asadov in the first round via a signature guillotine choke. The submission victory was a testimony about the flexibility and level of skills that Aliskerov was bringing to the table. With succeeding victories over Jeremy Smith and Chad Hanekom, the prospect from Champion Fight Team in Derbent have proved that he also capable of pure standup game as well as has the level of experience to take the fight to the distance. At Brave 14, Aliskerov will face one among the toughest challenges in his career when he faces Diego Gonzalez who has a professional experience of 32 fights with 20 wins. This marks the fourth appearance for Aliskerov in Brave Combat Federation.

The week ahead Yousef Nassar, Head of Talent Relations had confirmed that there will be further expansion to the middleweight division ahead of introducing a championship title to the division. At this point, Aliskerov will have the biggest target on him in the division and a win is necessary for the rising middleweight sensation. With more focus upon the undefeated career record of Aliskerov as the championship possibilities are active, the bout marks a significant one for the Middleweight division. Aliskerov will face Gonzalez at the Omni Sport Indoor Stadium in Tangier, Morocco on 18th August.
