Anthony Johnson out of Bellator light heavyweight grand prix

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Anthony Johnson out of the Bellator light heavyweight grand prix.

Bellator 268 takes place Oct. 16 at Footprint Center in Phoenix. The main card airs on Showtime while the prelims on FightBook MMA.

According to MMA Junkie, Johnson has withdrawn from his upcoming fight against champion Vadim Nemkov and the tournament due to illness. As of now, Nemkov will remain on the card against an opponent to be announced.
