The beef between the Middleweight World Champion and double-champion hopeful Mohammed Fakhreddine and the Light Heavyweight title contender Mohamed Said Maalem is getting intense once again, as their much-anticipated clash inside the BRAVE CF Arena gets closer.
During an official shooting for a BRAVE CF 52 promotional video, recently released on the BRAVE CF Instagram account, Said Maalem turned up the heat and made some powerful statements towards his rival.
“Thank God, BRAVE CF accepted the fight. Fakhreddine, I promise you Fakhreddine, your head I will break, your bones I will smash, your blood I will drink, you will see what happens when you make fun of Algeria,” the Algerian star said.
Said Maleem seems particularly bothered by what he described as Fakhreddine’s “lack of respect towards the nation of Algeria.” “L’Ambiance” then vowed to settle the record inside the cage, doing it for his fellow countrymen.
And he has reasons enough to feel confident in his chances. Holding a professional record of 11 wins and only 3 losses, Said Maalem is currently on a 6-win streak, including two BRAVE CF wins: a dominant unanimous decision over Todd Stoute and a vicious first-round knockout against Zvonimir Kralj.
Mohammed Fakhreddine vs Mohamed Said Maalem will serve as the main event of the evening for BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood. The event will be held on August 1st, in Milan, Italy, in association with The Golden Cage.
