Bellator 232 weigh-in results
UNCASVILLE, Conn.: FightBook MMA has your early and official Bellator 232 fighter weigh-ins which start at 8 a.m. MT (7 a.m. PT). Bellator 232 takes place Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena. The main card streams on DAZN while the prelims on FightBook MMA.
The early weigh-ins take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans will take place at 10:30 p.m. MT and you can watch a live stream here on FighBookMMA.com.
In the main event, welterweight champion Rory MacDonald will take on Douglas Lima in a rematch for MacDonald’s title. This fight is also for the final of the welterweight grand prix tournament. The winner will get a $1 million bonus.
Van Roosmalen missed the featherweight limit by more than 9 pounds. Commission head Mike Mazzulli stated that he will be required to fight at lightweight moving forward. This fight with Lencioni can go on only if Lencioni and Bellator approve it. Lencioni declined to take the fight at a catchweight so this bout is now canceled. A prelim fight is expected to be moved to the main card. Also, missing weight was Isaiah Chapman as he was a quarter-pound over the bantamweight limit and is expected to be fined a percentage of his purse.
