Orlando, FL: In front of a massive crowd at the Caribe Royale Orlando, Bare-Knuckle Fight Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Sports Promotion, presented a sensational evening of fast-paced, action-packed fights headlined by the return of Reggie ‘Educated Hands’ Barnett Jr’s exciting victory over Geane ‘The Revolutionary’ Herrera in the featherweight division. The event, BKFC’s second at the Caribe Royale Orlando, was broadcast globally as part of the BKFC+ Subscription for $4.99 per month on the New BKFC App.
Fighting for the tenth time under the BKFC banner dating back to the promotions’ first event in June 2018, Barnett in one of his best performances, outclassed and out-skilled the game Herrera throughout the clash. Scores at the end of the five rounds were 50-45 on all three judges’ scorecards for the victorious Barnett, (9-2) as Herrera’s record moved to 1-1. Strike stats showed Barnett landed 47% of his punches throughout the fight to 31% for Herrera.
Barnett was accidentally poked in the right eye in the first round but was able to overcome the early setback. Said the jubilant Barnett following the win, “I wanted to give the fans what they came for, I ain’t about quitting or getting a no-contest so I dug deep and fought through it.”
About who he wanted to fight next, Barnett said, “I want Dat (Nyugen). Let’s go settle this once and for all for the 135lb. championship.” Entering the fight, Barnett was the #5 ranked pound-for-pound fighter in BKFC.
In the super middleweight co-feature Jared ‘Captain Deadpool’ Warren, (5-2, 3 KOs) pressured Jay ‘Action’ Jackson, (2-2), throughout the first two rounds scoring two knockdowns. With the second coming at the end of the second stanza and Jackson unable to beat the count, Warren was declared the winner. The victory is Warren’s third in a row for the fast-rising star.

Fighting in the super lightweight division, Bobby ‘ODB’ Taylor, (5-2, 3 KOs), stopped highly touted BKFC newcomer Gabriel ‘Warrior of God’ Freyre in the second round (1:39). Two earlier knockdowns by the hard-hitting Taylor hurt Freyre prior to the final one resulting in the stoppage.
Jessica ‘The Black Widow’ Borga, (1-0, 1 KO), made her successful highly anticipated debut, overwhelming and stopping Sarah Click (0-1), in the opening round. Borga dropped Click mid-way through the first stanza, although she was subsequently deducted a point for hitting her while she was down. Moments later, the aggressive Borga dropped Click again and earned the knockout victory at the 1:15 mark of the round.
In a featherweight grudge match, Travis ‘The Animal’ Thompson, (5-4), handed David ‘El Perro Necio’ Diaz, (2-1), his first BKFC defeat. Scores were 50-44 on all three judges’ scorecards. Dropped in round four and fighting through a badly hurt left eye, the game Diaz took the heavy-handed Thompson’s best punches throughout the fight but was unable to off-set the victor’s consistently successful attack.
In an outstanding hard-fought two-way battle, fighting in the bantamweight division, JR ‘The Lion’ Ridge, (3-1) defeated Chauncy ‘Superfly’ Wilson, (2-2), by unanimous decision, (50-47, 48-47 and 50-45.)
Competing in the featherweight division, ‘Royal’ Ryan Reber (3-0), defeated Jack Grady, (1-2), who was disqualified after an intentional headbutt in the second round (1:56). Grady was deducted one point shortly after the fight started following the first intentional headbutt. Following a second intentional headbutt by Grady, referee Andrew Glenn called a halt to the bout.
Cruiserweight newcomer Jonathan ‘Big Baby’ Miller, (1-0), knocked out Stephon ‘Slugga’ Reese, (0-1) in the first round, (1:44), opening the main card. A massive left hook dropped Reese who did not beat the count from referee Dan Miragliotta.
In the prelims, lightweight Brandon Allen, (2-1), knocked out Josh Marer in the third round. with a huge right hand. Time of the stoppage was 1:46.
In a super lightweight fight, BKFC debuting Ja’far Fortt, (1-0), knocked out Chris Cornelius, (0-2) in the first round (:20) with a straight left, right hook combo.
BKFC newcomer Tony Murphy, (1-0,), stopped Shan Stapp, (0-1), with battering double right hooks in the first round. Time of the stoppage was (0:55).
