Manama, Bahrain – As BRAVE Combat Federation continues its string of groundbreaking announcements, the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world can confirm its return to Russia in late 2021.
After a historic debut in Russian soil to kick off the year, BRAVE Combat Federation will once again host an event in the country. The first show, BRAVE CF 46, was held in January of this year and was headlined by the first title defense of Eldar Eldarov.
The Super Lightweight champion of the world scored a TKO stoppage in the first round of his title fight against then top contender Leonardo Mafra, in a fight night filled with magical moments that set the tone for BRAVE CF’s relationship with Russian MMA.
Aside from the first defense of Eldarov’s title, BRAVE CF 46 also witnessed the much-anticipated promotional debut of Russian legend Ali Bagautinov. ‘’The Puncher King’’ earned a spot in the Flyweight tournament with a win over Oleg Lichkovakha.
BRAVE CF has a substantial Russian contingent within its roster. Aside from Eldarov and Bagautinov, some of the country’s top fighters are under BRAVE CF, such as Roman Bogatov, Ikram Aliskerov, Rustam Chsiev, Kasum Kasumov, Velimurad Alkhasov, among other world-class athletes.
Further details about BRAVE CF’s return to Russia will be announced in the coming weeks as fans can anticipate an explosive last trimester for the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world.
