Improving to 14-7 as a professional, Wexford native, Brian ‘The Pikeman’ Moore has scored his third consecutive victory under the Bellator MMA banner — taking home a rather one-sided unanimous judging triumph against short-notice replacement, Jordan ‘I’m Gonna’ Winski.
Moore assumes the centre of the cage early in the opening round, forcing Winski back to the fence from the get-go. In the open following the separation, Moore chopped the orthodox lead left of Winski with a damaging calf kick, which is returned. Straight Blast Gym mainstay, Moore gets clipped by a right-hand counter from short-notice step-in, Winski — before returning fire with a right hand of his own.
